Will I need a fishing license?
What should I bring along on my adventure?
Are there a lot of insects out there?
Are alcoholic beverages allowed on board?
Can I eat the fish I catch?
Can this be done during the day?
All containers should be plastic or cans - no glass please!
Beer is permitted in cans(Limit of One Six Pack). No hard liquor is permitted.
Absolutely no illegal drugs or substances of any kind will be tolerated.
You will need a freshwater or saltwater fishing license which can be purchased at any sporting goods store or online at www.myfwc.com. They have licenses available for as little as 3 day time periods.
All ice and equipment is provided for your charter. If you have a favorite bow or spear that you would like to bring along, feel free to do so. You can bring your own food and beverages if desired
(no bananas), but we do provide soft drinks and snacks. Bugspray, sunglasses, foul-weather gear, soft-soled shoes, jacket and a camera are all items that we would recommend for your comfort.
Although we recommend that you bring your own bug spray, we do provide a can onboard. Most of the insects we come across are non-biting insects and are more of a slight distraction than anything else. In the cooler months, very few are even present and after a short period of time you will quickly forget that they are even there due to your excitment and concentration on the fishing.
Although we can provide daytime bowfishing trips, nighttime trips offer a much higher success rate. The glare of the sun on the water, the sometimes windy conditions and high temperatures make it much more difficult to see and shoot fish during the day.
Our powerful boat lights make it alot easier to spot and shoot your prey at night. The cooler temperatures and calmer waters make for a much more enjoyable experience!
Gar, Tilapia, Flounder and even Stingrays are some of the best eating fish around. We would be more than happy to provide you with a few of our favorite recipes.
Is the price of the trip per person or per charter?
The rate you see on our website is per CHARTER, NOT per person. Your rate is for up to 3 shooters at one time. An additional person can be added for $25 for a full 4 Hours of shooting time, not from when we leave the dock. When divided up between shooters, no other fishing trip can guarantee the amount of action for the money!
