Are there a lot of insects out there?

Although we recommend that you bring your own bugspray, we do provide a can onboard. Most of the insects we come across are non-biting insects and are more of a slight distraction than anything else. In the cooler months, very few are even present and after a short period of time you will quickly forget that they are even there due to your excitment and concentration on the fishing.

Can this be done during the day?

Although we can provide daytime bowfishing trips, nighttime trips offer a much higher success rate. The glare of the sun on the water, the sometimes windy conditions and high temperatures make it much more difficult to see and shoot fish during the day.
Our powerful boat lights make it alot easier to spot and shoot your prey at night. The cooler temperatures and calmer waters make for a much more enjoyable experience!
